Fancy exploring Gran Canaria without compromising on comfort? Forget about endless bus journeys and hop on board our VIP minivan to explore the island’s most breathtaking landscapes and authentic spots. From the crater of Pico de Bandama to the heights of Pico de las Nieves, passing through charming villages like Arucas and Teror, this route allows you to enjoy Gran Canaria’s history, cuisine and natural beauty in a single day. Get the full island experience and see it as it should be seen!
The VIP Gran Canaria Tour is a full-day excursion designed for people looking for a premium experience: no overcrowded coaches, a comfortable minivan with a maximum of 8 passengers and an experienced driver just for you. The route links the most iconic spots in the north and centre of the island with the Fataga Valley and the viewpoints in the south, combining volcanic landscapes, traditional Canarian architecture, and stops for food and culture.
The price includes collection from your hotel in the southern tourist areas, minivan transport throughout the tour, commentary from the driver in your language, and third-party liability insurance. All you'll have to worry about is enjoying the scenery. Lunch isn’t included, but you’ll have free time to enjoy a lunch of your choice in Cruz de Tejeda.
Discover one of Fuerteventura’s most iconic spots.
The route begins with the climb up to Pico de Bandama, where you’ll be able to admire one of the most impressive volcanic craters in the Canary Islands. We’ll then continue on to the town of Arucas, known for its Neo-Gothic architecture, and visit the legendary Arehucas Rum Distillery to explore its century-old cellars and learn about the process of making this historic spirit.
Next we’ll head up to Teror, the island’s most traditional village, with its traditional Canarian wooden balconies and famous basilica. After an enchanting walk, we’ll arrive at Cruz de Tejeda, the geographical centre of Gran Canaria and a great place for our lunch break (lunch not included), surrounded by breathtaking views. With our spirits revived, we’ll climb to Pico de las Nieves, the highest point on the island, to enjoy a 360° panoramic view stretching as far as Mount Teide.
Then we’ll begin our descent southwards, crossing the majestic Fataga Valley. We’ll make a special stop at an aloe vera farm, where you’ll learn about its properties and organic growing methods. To round off the day in style, the final stop is the Degollada de las Yeguas viewpoint, the most spectacular view over the Fataga ravine and Maspalomas Dunes, before a comfortable trip back to your hotel.
